Photographic Safaris 2018

There is still the chance to join me in Africa next year photographing some of the most iconic subjects:

Zambia Photographic Safari 2018:

Due to the the first departure dates becoming fully booked very quickly, I have recently added another set date for the following week which has a few places remaining:

In 2018 join me on a Photographic Safari to one of the greatest wildlife destinations in Africa: South Luangwa. This particular area plays host to huge concentrations of wildlife including Elephants, Hippo, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion and over 450 species of birds. It is also a prolific area for photographing Leopard.

Travelling as part of a small and exclusive group of 6 you will be staying in Zambia’s best known luxury camps which offer spectacular views from your stylish tented ensuite accommodation situated in prime positions alongside the Luangwa River. Along with our own private driver, you will be guided by myself to ensure that you are in the right place at the best time to maximise your photographic opportunities at every sighting.

More details about this trip can be found here: Zambia Photographic Safari

Land Of The Giants 2018:

This safari is based in the stunning Amboseli National Park and the primary focus of the trip is the largest land mammal: Elephant.

Along with photographing stunning bull Elephants we will also be photographing the large herds crossing the open plains at the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Latest Assignments

Namibia: In my Spring Newsletter I wrote that I was soon to be leaving for Namibia to co-lead a photographic safari in partnership with Natures Images. This was an extremely successful trip which gave our group plenty of opportunities to photograph a range of wildlife from Desert Elephant to Desert Cheetah and from Lion to Oryx. I will soon be writing a blog on this safari to showcase the highlights. The image below was taken on our first evening as the sun was setting, highlighting the detail and texture on the Elephant stood in front of our vehicle.

Osprey: In July I spent a week in the Scottish Highlands photographing fishing Osprey. At times the going was tough with some days passing by with very little activity. After long hours in the hide I was fortunate to witness a few birds coming into fish. The image below was taken late in the evening and the last dive before sunset.

The Coming Months

I will shortly be making my way to Zambia to run back to back photographic safaris with 2 groups of guests. We will be based in the Kafue National Parkhoping to photograph a range of subjects from Lion to Leopard to Elephant.Upon my return I will be running the remaining Kingfisher and Bird Of Prey Workshops for 2017 before turning my focus towards the Windsor Contemporary Art Show where I will be exhibiting my range of fine art prints. If you would like to attend this event, I will have a small number of 2for1 ticketswhich will be available on a first come first served basis.
